Crows

Crows are one of the big brained animals of this world. They are communal, communicative, loving and very gossipy. Studies at the University of Washington have shown that crows keep track of people and grudges not just in the moment but over generations. I have had a number of crow pairs raise their families in my yard and have had strong relationships with them.

Dogs

My love for dogs is lifelong. I can scarcely recall a time in my entire life when there wasn’t at least one special canine. From the mutts to the purebreds, all my dogs have been outstanding in intelligence and love. If I could, I would have a dog read my eulogy when I die.

Night World

Impressions of travel by night

Nighttime brings about a mysterious element. Sight is focused differently and senses are heightened. In my series Night World, I have selected images from my travels that invite the viewer to see the world as it can only be experienced after hours.
